I'm in a really grumpy mood; brought on in part, I'm sure, by my sudden and unrequested teleportation back to the midwest!!
I mean, it's a bitchy 20 degrees here, blogland, and we had a little dusting of snow that stayed on the ground and anyplace else it landed ALL DAY yesterday. Waaughh!! Please oh please feel my pain! I live in the Pacific Northwest, not Minnesota! Where is my rain! Where is my moderate climate! Ok. I know it's December, and just the ideal season for a white Christmas, but I am cold! I hear some of you quickly clicking your escape button, moving on to happier bloggers. It's ok. I understand.
Since I cannot 'fix' the weather, I'm going to pretend that I'm somewhere in this cool paint-by-number painting at the top of this post. I picked this one up at Funky Junk Sisters, from Nia Sayers of Summerland (summerlandstyle.com). Fitting name, right? I love that bonsai-esque (that's a word, right?) quality of the trees, and who doesn't love a sailboat, gliding eternally on uber-calm seas, housed within a sunny yellow wooden frame.
