As you can probably imagine, Blogland, I am of the camp that one truly cannot have too many pillows. That being said, I am often waging battle with my husband, who takes the word pillow to mean bed pillow, despite the dangerous potential for violence at the hands of his sweet and gentle spouse! Yes, I meant me, Blogland. I absolutely adore these 3 pillows that I got this past weekend at Portland Expo. I bought them from Randy of Madison Park, his fantastic shop in Portland. They have such incredible handmade detail, soft faded fabric, and those shells as trim? Love it! I also gravitate toward funky vintage souvenir pillows. This one is one of my favorites. Love the bright punch of color!
Or this pillow made (by Matthew Culbert/Pacific Gallery in Seattle) from an actual painting done on canvas.
This one was probably made from a hooked rug. I cannot seem to get enough of the birds, can I?

Love shopping at both of those places! They both have things you just don't see anywhere else.
Husbands just seem unable to make the distinction between head pillows and our frou frou, "don't you DARE put yo stinky head on my" pillows!
I've got one, too! ;-)
Have a great Thursday,
Anne
Love all those pillows. The painted canvas is especially beautiful. My husband doesn't get the whole pillow thing either. Moving 6-8 pillows just to get into bed (that's not counting the 4 we use for sleeping). And when people come to visit, they are always moving the pillows on the couch and want to know why we have so many. I LOVE pillows. They are jewelry for your house. Have a great day. :) Tammy
I love pillows too . . . that owl is a hoot!
