Ok, Blogland. Not all of Indiana. That's just a line from a song. And it kind of explains the picture, because this post probably won't. Have any of you ever had a friend who meddles constantly, I mean, makes numerous 'helpful' suggestions about your blog, or your career, or your choice of shoes? Like when I refer to the man fixing my computer as the computer fix-ey guy, my friend says "technician", in a uber-calm, all-knowing kind of way. Well I do. Or did. Now my friend has moved to some town in southern Indiana, and I really miss our playdates! BTW, my 15 year old son hates me to call them playdates; he's hanging out with his friends. But...four kids x an infinate number of playdates = one hard habit to break, am I right?
Indiana's in the midwest. My friend told me that. But I already knew! I learned to drive in central Illinois. In winter. Usually on ice. That was fun. I remember drinking marshmallow cokes (before Dr. Pepper became the house wine) at the drugstore (Owl Drug, I think) downtown. In fact, I have a lot of fond memories of that part of our country, but, (as the song) says...Lord, I can't go back there. (There was a lit-tle incident with a roll of toliet paper, and a statue of President Lincoln..I really can't talk about it) I'll just stay here, in the Pacific Northwest. For now anyway.

I'm a Minnesota girl originally. Lots of fond memories but too much snow.

Love your little tags and your sweet fabric hearts. Sorry to hear that your oh so helpful friend moved away. My 14 year old thinks everything I do is corny now. Oh well! Have a great day. :) Tammy
