I miss those boxes of valentines; the ones sold everywhere to be passed around at school. Ok, my daughters made their own some years, but my sons always wanted the pre-made cards, often depicting Transformers or Power Rangers..definately my go-to guys when I think of love. Not. That'd be James Spader. Or Jeff Goldblum. Or..wait, that's not really love on my mind when I think of them, Blogland. Intersting side note, as I've lost track of where this post was heading anyway...both my daughters have dreamed that Tom Hanks was my husband. Huh.
I made these little hearts in the bowl on top. Got the idea from Somerset Life, I think. Easy enough to do, as I'd made the fabric hearts years ago for another project. Stamped some words on ribbon, and tacked it on. Repurposing. Love it. And love to you, Blogland! I wish you love in any form...true, everlasting, maternal, familial, lusty, just grab it and hold on tight!! Happy Valentine's Day.

I tried finding those little boxes of "Whitmans Sampler" chocolates to put on my children's pillows tomorrow ~ just like my Mom always did. I searched everywhere to no avail. Only Spongebob or Dora ,loud screaming chocolatey "flavored" boxes. Even Valentines Day can get sooo commercialized. I love the heart pillows and think I have to steal the idea with some extra burlap I have. Have a great Valentines Day!
love those hearts- looks like a bowl of sherbet delight- and I an with you about Jeff Goldblum (going back to The Fly!!)
